taking an idea in your head and putting it down as you hear it in your head. i think everybody in any creative field has this problem to some degree. you have an idea of what the thing you want to create should sound/look/feel like in your head, but you lack the technical ability to fully realize that idea, and it doesn't come out the way you want it to. it's a feeling that never really goes away and it's something you just kinda have to deal with. because even if you improve your technical abilities to be able to better realize your ideas, there's always something newer and more challenging ahead, and you're never really done. but i guess that's what makes it interesting as well? making music is hard. as it should be! if i wanted it to be easy i'd just rip off someone else's sound.
